Złącza Serial ATA
zgodne są ze standardem Serial ATA, Serial ATA II, oraz najnowszym Serial ATA III obsługującym transfer danych do 600MB/s (6Gb/s). Są one wstecznie kompatybilne ze sobą oraz zgodne ze standardem Serial Attached SCSI (SAS). Wszystkie są złączami typu Hot-Plug.
